I agree. And that is eventually what began my turn-around from believer to un-believer.

Most fundies seem to think, as Till has mentioned more than once, that if they can come up with any possible explanation or ad hoc argument that, somehow, they have done away with any problem. Thank God (if you'll pardon the momentary lapse) that, even when I was a believer, I never felt that way -- what I wanted was STRONG evidence that problems I saw were only imaginary. Since there was no such evidence forthcoming, the problems held sway.
