What is the inerrantist position on non-canonical quotations in the canon=
ical
text? For example, Jude quotes the apocryphal book of Enoch in Jude 14 =
and
15 (compare with the book of Enoch, verse 9 at
http://wesley.nnc.edu/noncanon/ot/pseudo/enoch.htm).
Note that Jude said that "Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied =
of
these, saying..."
Does this not imply that the book of Enoch was written by the prophet? =
Does it
not further imply that Enoch should be part of the Biblical canon? What =
does it
do for the validity of Jude to note that most scholars are of the opinion=
that the
book of Enoch is a late (ca 200-150 BC) pseudographical work?
