WALID
Now, The response to Farrell Till=92s grammer objections
Note: the statements ending with =93?=94 must be answered.
As Mr. Till answers my previous letter, it should shed more light to the =
case
I am presenting here.
Mr. Till seems to think that if you add more lines and repetitions to a
response it will weigh more and will sound better. He needs to realize th=
at a
lot of hot air will not give any weight at all, on the contrary it lifts =
up
the baloon Mr. Till is blowing.=20
He continues comparing apples with oranges to justify his position on wha=
t
seems so obvious. The simplicity of Ezekiel 26 does not need more of Mr.
Till=92s complications and play with words, mainly the struggle Mr. Till =
has to
try to play a game by showing several examples were Ezekiel uses =93they=94=
. Yet
he seems to have totally ignored the topic of a very simple to understand
prophecy which is summarized in it=92s beginning:
I am against you Tyre, and I will destroy you by sending MANY NATIONS to
plunder you.
Mr. Till does not mention at all the styles and ways the ancient Hebrews
write and gets into a lot of unnecessary detail trying to grade Ezekiel t=
he
HEBREW as his ENGLISH student. It is a common method to say the final
results in summary first, or to summarize the issues at the beginning. W=
e
see that technique used throughout the Old Testament, for an example we c=
an
read Ezekiel in chapter 38 where it says in verse 3: =93Behold I am agai=
nst
you O Gog=94 (and it seems that this prophecy is lining up to happen in M=
r.
Till=92s and Adnan=92s lifetime, HE could be amazed and THEY will be sho=
cked),
then God goes into more detail concerning His declaration.
The one rule, is to see how ancient hebrews constructed the text and judg=
e
according to the rules and ways ancient hebrew is written not english.
Now, lets look at some examples to show were Mr. Till had problems.
We could use Mr. Till=92s =93Thugs=94 example to say: =93Behold I am ag=
ainst you
Mr. Till and I will send MANY GANGS to plunder and destroy you, I will s=
end
big bad John with his GANG and HE will beat you up, and THEY will ransack
your house=94.(The violent examples were started by Mr. Till in his secon=
d
letter).=20
Now if I use =93HE=94 in the whole letter, and big bad john did his job, =
my
promises would have not been delivered and my word would be worthless sin=
ce
=93MANY GANGS=94 did not beat him up and ransacked his home. These guys =
belong
to the big bad John gang only. One could however translate that =93They=94
pertains to big bad John=92s gang, but an explanation would be required f=
rom me
concerning the usage of the plural =93gangs=94, so it would make perfect =
sense to
use =93they=94 to refer to =93gangs=94 and not one gang. It is that simpl=
e.
However, to make sure we must wait and see if the threat is accomplished
then we can tell for sure if the =93They=94 refers to the big bad John=92=
s gang or
to the other gangs. Also, if my threat is written in a way that =93HE=94 =
is used
everywhere in the first half of the letter to what John is going to do, a=
nd
=93They=94 is used in the other half of the letter to all the other threa=
ts that
John is not going to do, then my intentions are clear concerning my thr=
eats
on who is doing what.
Many prophecies in The Bible are not very clear on certain issues. Howeve=
r,
when they are fulfilled they become crystal clear. And when I say =93not =
clear=94
I am not speaking of vague prophecies where we have to stretch and twist =
the
content so much as to fit our aims as Mr. Till implies in his writtings. =
On
the contrary, it is evident that he is the one who stretches and twists t=
he
words to fit his heart=92s desires ignoring the fact that MANY NATIONS DI=
D
attack Tyre and =93MANY NATIONS=94 is used in the prophecy, but keeps pla=
ying
with one string by using THEY to refer to Nebuchadnezzar=92s army. He nee=
ds to
stop beating around the bush and answer; Why =93many nations=94 plural i=
s used?=20
Mr. Till: Why is many nations is used in Ezekiel 26 ?
Mr. Till: Again, did Many Nations attack Tyre ?
Mr. Till likes to use for his arguments Eze 4:4
Lie also on your left side, and lay the iniquity=20
of the *house* of Israel upon it. According to the=20
number of the days that you lie on it, you shall=20
bear THEIR iniquity (4:4).
He says since the =93They=94 (plural) here pertains to a =93house=94 (sin=
gle) then
the same rule must apply in Eze 26.
And I say that the above is an apple he compares to an orange. Let me dis=
play
an orange and show him how it tastes:
=93Come let US wipe them out as a nation=94 Psalm 83:4, notice the rest o=
f the
verses =93THEY=94 are pertaining to many nations =93Edom, Gebal, Assyria =
etc..=94and
the =93US=94 is also pertaining to =93Many nations=94 This chapter is a =
better
comparison with our orange than your apples.
=20
The examples you referred to as a comparison cannot be used in this cas=
e
since they are not similar in context. We should have your comparisons
examined by experts and let them be the judge.=20
Another reason I bring up Psalm 83 has a dual purpose since Mr. Till tota=
lly
ignored the Psalm 83 example I sent him when it mentions =93The People of=
Tyre=94
since Tyre would have been destroyed at the time Psalm 83 would get
fulfilled.
Mr. Till: How did David know that it would be =93The people of Tyre=94?
Mr. Till: How did David know that he can=92t use the word =93Tyre=94?
Does =93 THEY=94 in psalm 83 pertain to =93MANY NATIONS=94 which are =
specified in
the prophecy? =20
Since Mr. Till ignores the fact that =93MANY NATIONS=94 is used in the te=
xt of
the prophecy, he needs to explain WHY did Ezekiel use these words ?
Mr. Till, again, Was Tyre NOT attacked by many nations througout history?
Mr. Till: Can you explain empty old Tyre?
Mr. Till: Can you explain how did Ezekiel know that Tyre will be used us=
ed
for the spreading of fishing nets?.
By answering the question It will become clear that the only way skeptics=
can
deny these prophecies is to find a way to play a game of =93Word Juggling=
=94
which anyone can do, but to twist history is a different matter altogeth=
er
which the previous should handle.=20
(Walid faces the Jury):
Mr. Till uses =93Probably=94 and =93Possibly=94 trying to explain the shi=
ft in
Ezekiel=92s =93He=94 to =93They=94, he says: "The reason for the shift fr=
om singular to
plural in this text was probably the same as in the other examples of shi=
fts
that we noted in the book of Ezekiel".
Mr. Tills arguments with his =93probably=94 and =93possibly=94 is not s=
ubstantiated
by clear evidence and will not hold water since there are many historical
clues that perfectly match Ezekiel=92s claims as we proved previously. He=
needs
to show solid reasons in making his claims.
I request that Mr. Ezekiel be acquitted and released and Mr. Goliath be
charged for false claims and accusations against Mr. Ezekiel
I rest my case for now.
