Here is what the author has to say about the integrity of the Biblical
text.
"This demonstrates a terrifying misapprehension of what evangelicals
like McDowell believe about the composition of the Bible. We freely
acknowledge that textual emendations were made (to remove anachronisms,
for example, as noted above) and that language and writing styles
changed over the centuries, necessitating changes in the texts to keep
them understandable to their current readers."
So changes were made to the Bible, centuries after the death of the
authors and this is freely acknowledged. And this was done to remove
anachronisms!!! Isn't an 'anachronism' a mistake? Perhaps he meant to
write 'archaism'?
Wow! What can I say??
SO it is goodbye to inerrancy.
