Dear errantists and inerrantists,

I have decided that I will be leaving the list for a while, due to time
constraints, and the large load of email (little or none of which seems to
be about errancy). While it would be fun to see the clash of the titanic
intellects of Claire and Dick, I simply don't have the time or interest to
read their baseless assertions. There hasn't been an inerrantist here in
months who has been willing to defend the bible without resorting to
unfounded claims and/or intellectual dishonesty, so for me its time to move
on. Also, like some who have dropped out lately, I find this list just a
little bit too much fun. Where else can you read such ridiculous statements
as Dick's "murder isn't wrong" Claire's "immaculate conception" and Harvey's
flood "explanations"? This list is an addictive window into the minds of the
truly deranged, and I thank Farrell for making it all possible. I feel bad
that he has to sift through so much garbage to find the rare inerrancy issue.

As for me, I have many, many things to attend to, much of which is less fun
than poking fun at the wackos who defend the bible. I would like to thank
the infidels for all their excellent reference information, and I hope that
someday I can rejoin the list, when I have more time.
