Actually, the only thing you said that indicated they were poorly prepared
was that it took them that long to write you off and go on. Missionary work
is much like telemarketing, it's a numbers game, and there is no reason to
waste time arguing with someone who doesn't want to be sold. Not when "there
is a sucker born every minute."
IMHOP the really ill prepared ones are the JWs that will stand and argue
with my housemate for *hours.* The moment they realize that he actually
reads and studies the bible already they should be moving on to test the
next mark.
