ACC Frankly, you misunderstand Bryce's use of the word "attack." Bryce was not limiting his usage to those which are ad hominem in nature, but was extending the meaning to include any attempt to discredit a position. In this sense, CCBE HAS been attacking both Farrel Till and Dennis McKinsey, and has been doing so without allowing them to respond directly to the authors of the attacks, but to a discorporeal entity. We believe this tactic has the sole effect of putting CCBE opponents in the spotlight, while shielding CCBE members from the fallout if their attacks fail. The anonymity of the authors does nothing to get past "personalities," and is simply a transparent ploy. Also, ACC has reviewed your web page again, and wishes to inform Matt that it is possible to create more than one html page, and create what are known as "hyperlinks" between them. This makes it possible to organize information in an elegant yet simple way, instead of putting the topics haphazardly on a single page. MATT We already have a response to D.McKinsey on the web page, please point

purpose. ACC Again, under the definition of "attack" that Bryce used, your exchange was an example of an attack. Since none of the CCBE members involved in the exchange appear to have given Dennis McKinsey their names or even their pseudonyms, the attacks were anonymous. We believe that we do understand the purpose of the list.

ACC It is our firm conviction that the entire purpose of CCBE is to hide the authorship of attempts to discredit its opponents. As long as a single errantist is on the list, the authors cannot be assured anonymity, thus undermining the true intent of the list. We, the member(s) of ACC, do hereby declare that Bryce Anderson is generally honest in his dealings with his fellow man, though he has a tendency to goof off, and on several occasions has lied about whether he drank milk directly from the jug. It is our hope that Matt will cease and desist in his attempts to besmirch his good name.

ACC After several long discussions with Bryce, we've managed to convince him that he did not go far enough in his advice to Till. The ACC now takes the position that all CCBE posts should be sent to the trash unread, until such a time as CCBE decides to end the games and name the authors of their arguments. Perhaps, yes, CCBE may someday grow into a semi-respectable entity in the world of apologetics. But not until its members admit that skulking in the shadows is not a valid method of argumentation. It has been brought to my attention that it is only possible for ACC to refer to itself in the plural if there are two members in the group. We regret this error, and have declared Bryce Anderson's cat (Midnight) the second member of the ACC forum. Midnight brings a wealth of experience to the table, having studied six different languages, including Hebrew, Syrian, Greek, Aramaic, Swahili, and an obscure Oriental dialect known only as "Greepian." She graduated summa cum laude from Yale's archaeology department (if they have such a department. If not, she graduated from Texas A&M), and spent several years teaching Middle Eastern studies at BYU, Hawaii. Welcome aboard, Midnight! And quit climbing on the screen! Bad kitty! We must also announce that one of our founding members, Bryce Anderson, is leaving on a three week sabbatical, where he will most likely be shot and killed on at least four occasions. ACC will remain inactive during his leave. _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? Get your free @yahoo.com address at http://mail.yahoo.com
