Charles sez...

after reading:
http://www.charismamag.com/nov97/cn197105.htm
(Satanic Masons laying cornerstones)

and reading:
http://www.earlyamerica.com/review/summer97/secular.html
"As the Government of the United States of America is not in any
sense founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no
character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of
Musselmen (Islamics); and as the said States never have entered into any war
or act of hostility against any Mehomitan nation, it is declared by
the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever
produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two
countries."

and knowing that:
Many Founding Fathers were Masons:

Masons Signing the Declaration of Independence:
Benjamin Franklin
Robert Treat Paine
John Handcock
Richard Stockton
Joseph Hewes
George Walton
William Hooper
William Whipple

Masons Signing the U.S. Constitution:
Gunning Bradford, Jr.
John Blair
Benjamin Franklin
David Brearley
Nicholas Gilman
Jacob Broom
Rufus King
Daniel Carroll
James McHenery
Jonathan Dayton
William Paterson
John Dickinson
George Washington

And that the Masonic Lodge is under attack from the religious right... the
correctors of American (and other) history... Today I went out and joined
the Masonic Lodge!

p.s. the local lodge is admitting a full Vedic Hindu as well, which is nice.

The requirement is that you are good to your word (called ethical), NOT that
you swear on some minor book or another or go sniffing dirty laundry.

(The average Mason is 70+ so having the religious right attacking masons is
somewhat akin to kicking a legless begger. I choose to protect the weaker
against the stronger.)
