It was my understanding through history that only Smith was handling the
book.  He was visited by the angel called Moroni (root word "Moron").
The three witnesses I ahve never heard of.

Then you've never read the Book of Mormon, have you? As I said, it's right
in the introduction. How can you possibly say it is errant if you've never
read it?

Unless, of course, the reasonable default position is that books are not
"inerrant." To admit that, of course, requires you to produce evidence that
the Bible is in fact inerrant. Which of course brings us back to the purpose
of the list. Do you have anything to contribute in that regard? Why don't
you present evidence that any of the Biblical miracles actually occurred?
