Well, sure, since the RCs, who alone account for roughly half of
Christianity, don't "hold to the inerrantist superstition," it's obvious
that those who do constitute a minority. But just look at what Paige
Patterson, president of the Southern Baptist Convention, said at the SBC
convention on Tuesday: "For most Baptists, it is settled forever -- we
believe every syllable of the word of God to be absolutely true." There
are a whole lot of Baptists. Enough to scare me, anyway. Our President
and Vice President are Baptists. That REALLY gives me the willies.

Ironically, of course, the fact that the President & Vice-president are
Southern Baptists scares most Southern Baptists.
